Refund and Cancellation Policy

Before you pay

The public fit check takes no payment. If I confirm that the Starter Website fits, I send a written scope and the private $199 CAD reservation link. Review the scope and policies before paying.

What the $199 reservation covers

The reservation secures the accepted project and covers onboarding, review of supplied material, planning, copy organization, and the beginning of production. Work is considered started when I begin any of those project-specific activities after payment.

Cancellation before work starts

If you cancel after paying but before project-specific work starts, you may request a refund of the $199 reservation, less any non-recoverable transaction fee where permitted and disclosed.

Cancellation after work starts

Once project-specific work starts, the reservation is not automatically refundable because it pays for time already committed and performed. If I cancel the project or cannot deliver the accepted scope, I will refund the portion paid for work that was not completed.

Draft, consolidated revision, and balance

You receive a working draft and submit one consolidated revision list within the review period stated in the written scope. I complete the agreed changes. The $500 CAD balance is due after that revision and before domain connection, launch, and ownership handoff.

Client delays or inactivity

If required facts, photos, access, feedback, or payment are late, the schedule pauses. The written scope may state an inactivity period after which the project must be rescheduled. Work already completed remains payable; a restarted or materially changed project may require a new quote.

After launch

The package includes a 14-day fix period for typos, defects, or agreed-scope corrections. New design direction, content, pages, integrations, or ongoing updates are separate work and are not a basis for refunding the completed package.

Duplicate or accidental payment

Contact me promptly about a duplicate or clearly accidental charge. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method; bank processing time varies.

The $99 Website Review

The Website Review may be cancelled for a full refund before review work starts. Once I begin examining the site or preparing feedback, that service is non-refundable. If I cannot complete it, I refund the undelivered service.
